About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Reuben College as part of its Facilities team. The College was established as a graduate society of Oxford University in 2019.
It is located at the heart of Oxford, next to the Museum of Natural History, in an extensively refurbished historic building.
You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the College and our student accommodation; as well as setting up rooms for events and meetings.
You will be based at Reuben College, but will also visit our student accommodation sites; Farndon Court and Winchester Road Villas on a regular basis to carry out maintenance.
About you
- You will have experience in basic building maintenance
- Take an organised approach to your work and be able to respond promptly and effectively to changes in priorities
- Have a clear understanding of what it means to be customer focused
- Be trustworthy and reliable with the ability to develop good working relationships with staff and students
- Have good verbal and written communication skills; along with basic numeracy skills
- A knowledge of Health and Safety is desirable
