Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a
Head of Digital, to
join our team hybrid working, including on site at Coeliac UK Head Office,
High Wycombe. You will join us on a full time
basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of
£53,000 per annum based on knowledge and experience.
Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet.
We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.
The Head of Digital role:
Key responsibilities of the Head of Digital:
- Working with the Director of Marketing & Digital to develop and lead the digital solutions across the organisation; including delivering the existing road map
- Leading and developing the digital team to provide relevant, timely and accurate information and support for CRM and other financial and operational data across the organisation
- Providing best practice guidance to the organisation on digital execution, including user experience, SEO and content optimisation
- Providing regular and exceptional reporting on the key metrics for the digital channels, including a weekly dashboard
- Directly project managing key digital developments including testing and quality control
- Managing third party service providers ensuring value for money and compliance with SLAs
- Responding to, and troubleshooting, all digital systems issues managing supplier ticketing systems
- Monitoring website security and responding to all digital security breaches
- Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
- Ensuring compliance with best practice standards and with all laws and regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the Head of Digital:
- Experience in department or large project management, including people and budget management
- A minimum of five years' experience managing/developing a website
- A minimum of two years' experience in CRM/database management
- Experience in developing and managing apps
- An expert in content management systems and have extensive experience in developing user journeys, optimising user experience and delivering multi variate testing
- Good knowledge and understanding of W3C Web standards
- Excellent general IT skills, with the use of MS Project, and MS Visio desirable
- HTML/CSS and Workbooks knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- A great understanding of SEO and the impact of actions on search visibility
