This post is one of a team of Specialist Caseworkers who will be working throughout the county, alongside colleagues from Age UK Oxfordshire.

Ensuring that all people who have had contact with Social & Community Services have access to independent benefit advice, and assistance with financial management and problem debt.


The main aims are to provide specialist advice to younger people leaving care aged 16+, families and adults up to the age of 60 with a disability or long term illness, or caring for someone with a disability or long term illness on welfare benefits.


Assisting them to claim benefits and to access services and support that will maximize their health and wellbeing and independent living as appropriate.

Also, to provide advice and support with financial management and management of problem debt to users of this service of all ages.

This role involves home visiting.
