Scrap Burning Operative


We have a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated Scrap Burning Operative, here at Runtech, primarily based at our scrap handling site, Llewellyns Quay, Port Talbot, however, may be required to go to other Runtech site locations.

Job description:


  • Processing various scrap items to meet client specifications using oxy & propane burning equipment
  • Assisting with loading containers and associated tasks

Key attributes:


  • Flexible and adaptable attitude showing a willingness to succeed
  • Demonstrating a positive and motivated attitude
  • Reliable & Dependable
  • Knowledge & experience in a heavy industrial environment
  • Able to comply with Health & Safety procedure

Essential Qualifications:


  • Full and clean UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience of Oxy Propane burning in a scrap environment

Package:


  • 40 Hours per Week Monday to Friday
  • Rate of pay is £12 per hour
  • Negotiable depending on experience.
  • Occasional overtime may be required
  • Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme
  • Uniform and PPE Provided
  • 28 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays
Please note that all applicants will be reviewed and responded to in the New Year.


Salary:
£12.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Experience:


  • Oxy propane burning: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
