Disability Assessor


Salary:
£35,000 - £38,000 per annum + performance bonus

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Assessor to join our team in Kingsbridge.

As a Disability Assessor, you will assess individuals with disabilities and health conditions to determine their eligibility for government benefits.

You will conduct assessments in a variety of formats including face-to-face, telephone and online, and will produce detailed reports based on your findings.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct assessments with individuals who have disabilities or health conditions
  • Write detailed reports based on your findings
  • Determine eligibility for government benefits
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:


  • Minimum one year postregistration experience as a Nurse, Doctor, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car for work purposes
