LHH are proud to be partnering with a globally renowned consultancy firm who are looking to add financial modellers to their growing project teams in Manchester.
This teams enable clients to understand their business through building and reviewing models,and data analytics, utilising tools such as (Excel, VBA, SQL, QlikView, Tableau, Power BI) to support decision making and effective execution.
If translating complex data into models is something you enjoy and excel at, then this is the team for you.
Role Description:
- Actively drive the growth of the modelling team
- Lead large projects to support clients in tackling business issues
- Build strong client relationship with an ability to effectively take propositions to market
- Be responsible for endtoend engagement and stakeholder management
- Use existing Excel, VBA, and/or SQL skills
The type of work includes:
- Cost modelling, integrated 3statement modelling
- Financial forecast and scenario modelling
- Transaction modelling such as valuations and option appraisals
- Reviewing financial models for quality signoff
- Developing tactical solutions
- Development of data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables
Key skills required:
- Experience in scoping, designing, and building financial models from scratch
- Knowledge of Excel, Power Query, VBA, and SQL
- Experience in team management is advantageous
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding
