About the role


We are looking for a Finance Apprentice to support our growing Finance team whilst undertaking a value adding professional qualification.

The Finance Apprentice will support each of the 3 Finance functions:

  • Financial Operations
  • Financial Reporting
  • Purchasing


You will have the opportunity to learn how the work of the different functions combine to ensure that key deliverables are met on time and accurately.


This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to join the Finance team and to undertake a Level 2 Accounts/ Finance Assistant Apprenticeship.


What you will be doing -

  • Providing daytoday support for the finance functions covering tasks such as:
  • Supplier invoice processing
  • Supplier payment preparation
  • Cash book posting
  • Customer billing
  • Purchasing
from key suppliers

  • Stock control reporting
  • Sales order processing
  • Fleet maintenance
  • Other month end reporting tasks
  • Supported study towards a relevant Finance qualification

You will suit the role if you have -

  • An eye for detail
  • An ability to follow process
  • An interest in problem solving
  • A willingness to learn new things
  • An interest in finance
  • A minimum of Grade 5 GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths

Salary
£15,500 per annum

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead Head Office with travel as required.


Hours of Work
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
