An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Paediatric Outpatient Team.

We are looking for a highly organised, motivated person with good IT and keyboard skills to work in the Children's Outpatient Reception Team and also support the secretarial team with editing/audio typing of clinical letters.

You will need to have the ability to exercise initiative, work effectively under pressure, maintain levels of confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ensure case notes and electronic referrals are prepared and available for outpatient clinics.
Receive patients and relatives in reception and ensure checked into the Millennium system.
Answer telephone enquiries and action accordingly.
Make, rebook or cancel appointments as necessary.
Assist the clinical teams by editing/typing audio clinic letters.
Maintain systems and process to ensure patient information/data is complete and accurate.
