A specialist care provider is seeking a Registered Manager to manage a medium service in North Yorkshire which provides support for adults.

This role is with a well known national provider of care and support for people with learning disabilities and mentalhealth needs.

The biggest unique selling point is how much they push for service excellence and do this buy investing in the development of all staff and currently rated "
GOOD" in all areas

Responsibilities of Registered Manager:

To maintain a highquality service working in partnership with colleagues to manage services.
To develop training methods for the improvement of service users' rehabilitative processes, with handson involvement as required.
To give any medication as prescribed, with proper monitoring of the drug, dose, time, route and person to whom it is given. To ensure the medication is properly taken, and to monitor for any normal, positive or negative effects of that drug.
To Increase revenue by achieving the highest possible occupancy levels, through a focussed marketing programme which will include the maximising fees.

Key Skills/Requirements:

Sound knowledge of working with people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Healthand experience of working in a similar setting.
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and willing to work towards you Level 5 or have a Level 5 already,
Good communication skills (both written and oral), including listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people
Up to date knowledge of CQC regulations, health & social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding and deliver the highestquality personcentred care is essential.
Have an understanding of clinical services
