**The Company
**Able Bridge Recruitment are partnering an accountancy practice who are embarking on a strategic expansion in Scotland. Due to a gap in the market, our client have identified a massive growth opportunity and as such have opened an office in Dundee.

As such we have been exclusively retained to assist them in the recruitment of several key hires for the new venture.


The role of client manager will report into one of the partners and will be accountable for a portfolio of clients who require management and financial accounts to be processed and completed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Your clients will predominantlybe sitting within one industry vertical, however within that vertical there are a number of subsets.


Our client has built a reputation of quality and prestige and has a strong employee led culture of togetherness and shared values.

They have a very low turnover of staff due to there ethos and care of their staff and clients.

**The Responsibilities
**The purpose of this role is to be the point of contact for a portfolio of customers and provide accurate and informative financial advice as well as business advisory expertise. You will be overseeing the work of junior staff and ensuring key deadlinesare met.

**On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
**Manage a diverse portfolio of clients within a specific industry sector.
Review accounting files to ensure accuracy of information collated.
Finalise year end accounts in coalition with the assigned partner and distribute to your client for review.
Critically appraise the client journey to aid improvements that will drive customer satisfaction.
Proactively work with new clients in overseeing cloud financial product demonstrations and installations.

**The Requirements
**This role would suit an individual who is currently working as an assistant client manager or someone who is looking to make a move into a more individually focused accountancy practice. Our client has strongly indicated that they expect the successfulapplicant to be a professionally qualified accountant, however the experience of working within practice as a client manager/assistant client manager is more important to them. The individual will able to demonstrate core competencies such as the ability to form strong client relationships, work planning and scheduling, commercial awareness as well as thedesire to go the extra mile for their client base.

**Our client will be expecting the successful applicant to be based in the office on a blended working model, the model that we are working with is 60% in the office and 40% working remotely. If, however, applicants wish to work longer in the officethe option is available to them.
