Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:
We are looking for a Machine Tool Fitter for a permanent position in Sheffield.

Job responsibilities:

Experience repairing and maintaining large vertical borers particularly Webster and Bennett machines and various large capacity lathe machines. Experience of rotating machinery is also important.
A recognised mechanical apprenticeship (4 year) is critical.
Experience fault finding and problem solving of a range of engineering equipment, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and willing to take on nonengineering duties to support the plant.
Assisting the site maintenance team with the installation and commissioning of brandnew machinery.
Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.

This will be working alternative mornings (6am to 2pm) and days (12pm to 10pm).

Rate of pay is £14.05 per hour. Overtime rates will apply
