OFFICE ASSISTANT


We have a very exciting role for an ambitious Office Assistant who is looking for a long-term career within the admin sector.

You will be joining a small, friendly team who are bursting with passion to welcome a new team member into their busy office based in South Kirkby, Pontefract.


Benefits:

- £9.50+ per hour

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (weekends off)
  • Full internal training provided
  • Permanent position
  • Pay review every 12 months
  • Onsite parking

Duties:


  • Order processing, data inputting, use of excel, spreadsheets and various bespoke systems
  • Processing invoices, credit notes and orders
  • Assisting Finance and Purchase Ledger (training provided)
  • Updating customer accounts accurately and accordingly
  • General day to day office duties

Skills:


  • Strong organisational skills
  • Computer Literate (use of excel and Microsoft)
  • Previous admin, reception or office experience would be essential (2 years +)
  • Previous Finance or Purchase Ledger assistance would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent telephone manner and relationship building skills
  • Positive attitude towards learning new skills
  • Call Summer on between the hours of 8am 5pm Mon-Fri
