The role holder will assume responsibility for supporting the UK Land Supply team and ensuring smooth delivery of the Land Supply business' day-to-day activity.

This position requires a highly numerate and commercial individual with leadership experience who is eager to join a leading Fortune 100 brand and provide strategic insights and information to senior managers.


Responsibilities:


  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Support Supplier tender and subsequent contract negotiations
  • Support the Supply team to ensure smooth delivery of team objectives
  • Deliver daily pricing and provide pricing support to wider commercial teams"
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting
  • Provide support at month end
  • Close liaison with Ops team to optimise Supply Chain
  • Support supply team in strategic conversations with suppliers, internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Finance team on specific projects as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

  • An interest in developing and learning within a supply environment
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential, as well as proficiency in excel and experience in invoicing and pricing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise effectively is essential.
  • Strong team working and relationship building skills are important
  • Experience of analysing commodity and financial markets and providing key insights to management is desirable but not essential
