Accommodation Officer - Social Housing

Siamo Recruitment are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Officer to join a local organisation based in the County of Conwy, working on a 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in the Social Housing sector, looking to progress their career with a forward-thinking, modern organisation.- The role will be working full-time hours requiring access to your own vehicle and business insurance as travel to various sites will be expected.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will have an Enhanced DBS Certificate processed.

Salary:

£26,872

£28,645 per annum

(depending on relevant Housing experience)
The Role:

Become a point of contact for property enquiries, liaising with tenants and landlords
Provide a comprehensive tenancy and property management service for the benefit of tenants and landlords
Deal with any tenancy and property management enquiries from both tenants and landlords
Ensure rent is collected and advise tenants on relevant support available to help with payments
Advise tenants correctly on relevant matters that relate to moving home
Carry out routine property inspections on a regular basis
Liaising with external organisations such as Police and Social Services when appropriate
Experience in the housing sector is essential
Full UK Driving License, access to own vehicle, and business insurance required
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
