Profile

As the Data analyst you will have a proven track record analyse data and support,
challenge and collaborate with Purchasing team members and leaders in improving KPI's.
Provide insights that help to manage improved and stable demand signal into suppliers and a
robust procurement strategy whilst maintaining incoming inventory costs and on time delivery
of parts to meet business targets.

You will be working for an extremely successful manufacturing business so experience of working withinin manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential.

The job

The Data analyst will support all internal customers and communicate between departments to ensure

  • A clear, concise automated data management system in place to manage 100% missing
parts and Quality, Cost, Delivery KPI's

  • Coordinate and drive all customer critical actions across the purchasing business to support
reviews

  • Ensure the Purchasing team is driving the critical customer actions (quality & delivery) and
drive them to closure in a timely manner to achieve customer satisfaction and planned sales

  • Ensure robust coordination and timely update of master data
  • Through Sales and Operations Review meeting drive decisions on management of pull in
and push outs along with Operations Planning, Programme Team etc. and ensure incoming
Inventory from supplier is in line to support demand whilst maintaining stability in supply chain

  • Analyse Weekly Demand Fluctuations (Pull in / Push outs/ cancellations), drive root cause
corrective action by influencing the cross functional teams and influence the business to drive
towards improved change control of demand

  • Track Supplier de commits on a weekly basis and provide report to Purchasing Leadership
team

  • Pro actively provide analysis on key input measures
to the Supplier Account Managers and purchasing teams and influence
them to make decisions to improve missing parts, OTD and DPPM

  • Review Procurement and Purchasing Procedures and ensure they are up to date and
compliant to AS9100 requirements including military flow down

  • Work with Wider Purchasing teams to improve and streamline supplier planning and
procurement systems
