Purchase Ledger Clerk - Permanent, Full TimeDuties:
- Accounts payable
- Complete responsibility covering input, obtaining authorisation and making payments
- Weekly Bankline payment runs
- Monthly distribution client payment runs
- Monthly VAT returns and quarterly VAT returns
- Fixed Asset management recording, depreciating and reconciling
- Month end journals and system reports
- Logging and processing invoices and credit notes
- Statement reconciliations
- Preparing supplier payments
- Updating resolved queried invoices
- Sales order processing and assisting with general administrative duties for the Finance team
- Communicating effectively with other departments and branches to ensure a cohesive and smooth running of the business
Requirements:
- Double entry experience and ideally bookkeeping knowledge
- High attention to detail
- Professional telephone manner
- Good written English
