Purchase Ledger Clerk - Permanent, Full Time


Duties:


  • Accounts payable
  • Complete responsibility covering input, obtaining authorisation and making payments
  • Weekly Bankline payment runs
  • Monthly distribution client payment runs
  • Monthly VAT returns and quarterly VAT returns
  • Fixed Asset management recording, depreciating and reconciling
  • Month end journals and system reports
  • Logging and processing invoices and credit notes
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Preparing supplier payments
  • Updating resolved queried invoices
  • Sales order processing and assisting with general administrative duties for the Finance team
  • Communicating effectively with other departments and branches to ensure a cohesive and smooth running of the business

Requirements:


  • Double entry experience and ideally bookkeeping knowledge
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Good written English

Hours:
