Trade Team are currently looking for a Receptionist for our client based in the B43 area


Daily duties:

  • Book in, amend and cancel patient appointment inline with practice procedures ensuing optimum efficiency of the appointment system
  • To provide an efficient and helpful service to the practice and patients by acting as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors and other medical staff.
  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
  • Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
  • Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
  • Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.
  • Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy.
  • Check fridge daily for lab specimens ready for courier collection.
  • Record samples received from patients at reception
  • Management of Repeat Prescriptions
  • Regularly check tasks and notification on SystmOne.
  • Sort post and file letters and information on computer or hard copy as relevant.
  • Deal with online enquiries received via website.
  • Send referrals to relevant health services as required.
  • Undergo online training with Clarity Teamnet.

About You:


  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
  • Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
  • Passionate about healthcare excellence.

Qualification:


  • GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths is essential.
  • DBS

Hours:


  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 30 hrs per week

Salary:
£10.50 per hour
