Are you on the look out for a rewarding, flexible new job? Look no further as our East Dunbartonshire relief team is growing, so we're now on the look out for caring and reliable people to join us

The Role
The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same.

As a member of our relief team, you'll help us to make sure that we can continue to deliver excellent care and support during times of colleague annual leave, training and absence.

You'll help the people we support with all aspects of daily living, including going to appointments, personal care, shopping, cooking, housework and medication.

You'll also find yourselves getting involved in many of their hobbies and interests too, which include going for walks, the cinema, the pub, arts & crafts, baking, day trips and much more

About You
We're looking for people who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of others.

We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us.

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too

What we need you to bring;

  • Good communication skills
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns
Shifts patterns are made up of early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, waking nights, sleepovers and public holidays.

Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 per night worked.

If you're successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
