Job Purpose:
Factory workers operate machinery to manufacture different products, which can vary depending on the industry.
Factory workers are responsible for a range of functions including processing, sorting, and packing the products, as well as operating the machines and monitoring the output to check it is in line with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision cutting of materials
- Matching the correct tools to correct Job Spec
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ensuring accurate information is recorded on paperwork and signed by relevant person
- Handling with care of materials
- Check and ensure the quality of products produced
- Correct errors or discrepancies or deformities
- Clean and organise the shop floor in line with health and safety.
- Packing the products correctly for distribution
- Checking the right packaging has been used
- Max lift 25kg
- Work In an efficient and effective manner to meet the target schedules & deadlines
- Maintain Stock Levels.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Identify business improvement opportunities and feedback
- Undertake continuous training and development
- Occasional overtime to meet the Business needs
- Cross Functional working

- GCSE Maths
- Understanding of production costs, including waste and rework
The hours for this role are:
Monday - Thursday 8:30am-17:00pm
Friday 7:30am - 16:00pm

£10.42 per hour
