Reed Scientific is working with one of the largest global environmental and engineering consultancy companies in the world and they are looking to further expand their team looking for a Chemical Safety Advisor.

You would be working in a wonderful and supportive team of 12 and you would be then trained over the course of 3 months to excel in the role.

This training course will provide you all the skills and knowledge needed to deliver your expertise and efficiently tocustomers seeking advice from the emergency response team.

Desired Skills:

BSc or MSc in Chemistry or related discipline.
Looking for individuals who are keen to use their chemistry background and would welcome beingtrained up to become chemical experts.
You will be provided with all the tools to help customers in any chemical emergency, so strong communicative skills are a needed.
Any previous experience working in a laboratory in industry would be highly favoured.
UK Diving Licence and Car (required for 4 days of night shift)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide crucial telephonebased Emergency Response information to callers dealing with chemical emergency incidents.
Callers to the service can vary which includes emergency services, chemical and transport companies, members of the public and others, both in the UK and abroad.
You be working in shifts within the team covering this critical service that runs 24/7. This role is interesting and challenging, suiting individuals with motivation and enthusiasm to drive and champion emergency response work. This role would be suite recentchemistry graduates looking for a step into the chemical/consultative industry or a junior chemist or scientist looking to step out of the lab but still working within the scientific sector.
