If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you A reputable secondary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated and efficient School Administrator to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a School Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions
Your responsibilities will include:

General administrative support:
Assisting with various administrative tasks, including managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries from students, parents/guardians, and staff members.
-Student records management:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records using the school's management information system
(SIMS). This includes entering and updating student data, managing attendance records, and generating relevant reports.
Scheduling and coordination:
Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events. This includes booking rooms, arranging necessary resources or materials, and sending out invitations or notifications.

Finance support:
Assisting with financial tasks, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records. Collaborating with the finance department to ensure compliance with financial procedures.

Human resources support:
Assisting with HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing leave requests, and assisting with recruitment processes.

Front desk reception:
Greeting visitors, providing information, and directing them to the appropriate staff members or departments. Ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere at the front desk area.

Maintaining office supplies:
Monitoring and replenishing office supplies, including stationery, equipment, and other materials. Keeping inventory records and placing orders as needed.

Supporting school events:
Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of school events, such as parent-teacher meetings, open days, and assemblies. This may involve logístical arrangements, preparing materials, and providing on-site support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational environment.
- Proficiency in using administrative software and management information systems, with
experience in SIMS being preferable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A friendly and professional demeanour, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to students, parents/guardians, and staff members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an uptodate CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
