Overview:


Waters are looking for an Inter-Company Buyer to join the established materials team at Wilmslow for a 12-month FTC This role is hybrid, and we also work flexibly at Wilmslow.


This is an amazing opportunity to work within a buying department, supporting an expert team, whilst receiving training and development throughout.

This role would suit a highly organised and efficient administrator looking to develop their knowledge within a Buying Team.


Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:


  • Control and place purchase orders.
  • Ensure on time and in full inventory and intercompany purchase order delivery.
  • Timely resolution of invoice / delivery queries.
  • Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments.
  • Master data updates in relation to price changes.
  • Administration of supplier sales.
  • Work closely with other members of the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department.
  • Work to departmental processes and ISO procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:

GCSE in English and Maths.


To be successful you will:

Administrative experience or Buying experience.

Solid understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point)

SAP knowledge advantageous but not crucial


Competencies:

Be a self-starter and highly organised.

Be able to work in a confidential environment and demonstrate sensitivity when handling confidential information.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
