Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

North-west London


Pay rate:
£96.90- £102.80

Anzuk are currently working with various schools around North-west London to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

Your role may involve providing ad-hoc or dedicated 1-1 support to specific children and providing whole-class support in lessons. You'll also help maintain the learning environments, assist with administration and provide ad-hoc management or support.

The role of a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Work with a small number of students in small groups outside of the classroom on specific programmes
  • Produce and monitor Learning Plans for SEN students, including preparing targets, programmes and strategies
  • Liaise with classroom teachers, assisting with planning and differentiation where necessary
  • Develop a positive and nurturing relationship as Key Worker for a small number of SEN students, and maintain contact with parents

Successful Learning support assistants will have:

  • Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly children on the Autism Spectrum
  • The ability to manage a small group of children with complex social communication needs
  • Valid work rights for UK
  • An up to date CV
  • Patience and great communication skills
