£42,000+ (Negotiable)

They specialise in the Installation and Maintenance of M&E services, and theycomplete projects across all sectors around Essex and Cambridgeshire.

Their constant high-quality workmanship and professionalism for every project has resulted in a record of repeat business. In line with their consistent growth, they are now seeking an MechanicalDesign Coordinator.

This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical design engineer that is seeking a move away from their consultancy background into a challenging contractor environment.

As a business, they are experienced in facilitating the transition from consultancyto contactor as they have hired multiple engineers from a consultancy background.

You would be managing the design process on several multi-million pound projects, working closely with architects, consultants, clients and sub-contractors.

5+ years' experience within a consultancy environment on the Mechanical design front.
Capability designing a variety of Mechanical systems including heating, plumbing and HVAC systems.
Proven record of working to BIM level
Experience with detailed design (RIBA stages 12)
Experience using AutoCAD, Hevacomp, Cymap & IES
Experience generating reports, design schematics and attending clients/contractor meetings.
Ability to work with, assist and manage junior/intermediate staff.
