Description

To provide comprehensive reception and admin support to the Allied Health Professions rehabilitation staff and patients within the Therapy & Rehabilitation Department.

This post involves processing patient referrals, checking patients into department, booking appointments, processing orders on PECOS, filing clinical notes and dealing with enquiries.


Knowledge of booking systems (preferably Tiara and Trak), diary management and PECOS ordering is preferred however full training will be given.

A pleasant and approachable manner, excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to work under pressure is essential. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.


A level of flexibility is preferred in the event of sick leave etc and the ability to work across our Rehabilitation Department at Queen Margaret Hospital if required.

A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required. You should be educated to the equivalent standard grade or have relevant experience.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
