Interior Design Engineer - Technical Cost Analysis / Reporting

Initially based in Cockpit Module & Interior Trim Team

Cranfield

To start ASAP - 12 months assignment

Rate - £28.61 ph PAYE

As Technical Cost Engineer in Cockpit & Interior Design & Development, you will be part of a team of engineers to who develop bestin class Interiors for our future customers. We are looking for an Interior Engineer with a good understanding of the costbreakdown of parts to ensure the team comes up with Competitive Design to Cost & achieves Sourcing with Tight Budget Constraints. In this role you will also be given a specific Engineering Commodity to work on where you will be responsible to lead the developmentof a Cockpit &/or Interior Component from Quality/Cost/Delivery point of view. This includes the preparation of parts development schedules, ensuring our NEM/NDS/NES performance are met, analyzing technical and cost data, leading concern investigations, managingsuppliers and communicating crossfunctionally with other Design sections and other functions. Within both roles you will be at the core of Nissan R&D in Europe with the opportunity to work with Styling, Vehicle Layout & Test in Europe & Japan to shape thefuture of our European Products. _
