Step Ahead are delighted to have partnered with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a new Business Partner to join their small and busy team.

This is a great role for a Senior Advisor looking for their step up into a business partnering role. You will join a supportive team and a collaborative organisation.

This is a Hybrid role with 2 to 3 days working in the stunning offices based in central London and the rest from home.

The job role:


  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide support and guidance to line managers and employees.
  • Utilise a coaching style to challenge and influence managers in HR policy, employee relations, recruitment, and organizational change.
  • Deliver training/briefing sessions for managers and ensure consistency in HR processes.
  • Advise on the use of agency staff and consultants in compliance with legislation and organisational practices.
  • Ensure employee performance, development, and absence management are consistent and effective.
  • Support managers in people management, while maintaining a supportive presence.

What you can bring:


  • Substantive HR experience in a complex organisation, including implementing organisational change and supporting HR projects. Ideally from a Higher educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR trends, and equity and diversity issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Resilience, problemsolving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Commitment to providing a highquality HR service and understanding of equal opportunities.
