Description

Purpose of Role:

Develop, innovate and drive the FTL and LTL business in the UK & IE Cluster and becoming a leading Cluster through the use of digital platforms to deliver efficiencies and excel in customer service

Promote and develop innovative digital platforms including D4S (Drive4Schenker) to drive efficiency and develop a leading European market platform
Implement defined digital platforms (e.g. D4S) including user interfaces, matching algorithms, and fleet steering within the branches
Manage Direct Freight Budget and financial result (EBIT) in UK & IE and develop topline growth, CM1 and EBIT.
Develop skills within and assist key branch level usage of digital platforms (e.g. D4S)
Collect and report customer and carrier feedback on the customer experience for platform development to the RHO Direct Freight function
Identify effects and improve transaction efficiency through digital platforms (e.g. D4S)
Manage contract and spot freight using authorised digital Schenker platforms with intelligent matching, carrier rating, price building and bidding
Combine loads to realise consolidation effects
Seek and promote collaboration within the Schenker network
Manage full life cycle of a Direct Freight transport order
Order acceptance, event management, POD upload and payment processes
