Venn Group is working with a Local Authority in London to recruit an interim Infrastructure Engineer, to support and maintain the council's Azure cloud infrastructure.

The interim Infrastructure Engineer will provide 3rd line support and advise on, design, and implement solutions for Azure cloud infrastructure administration.

This role is inside of IR35 and requires site attendance to the office in London one day per week.

Responsibilities:

Monitor incoming queues on the IT service desk, providing 3rd line BAU support where necessary
Provide technical expertise on escalated issues that cannot be resolved by Technical Support Officers
Identify problems, log problem records, and communicate appropriately
Advise on, design and implement solutions for Azure cloud infrastructure

Desired experience:

Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure (IaaS, ARM templates, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Azure AD)
Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
Onpremise Windows Servers and infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
Knowledge of the ITIL framework
Backup administration (Rubrik)
