Payroll Assistant / £25k - £30k / Leamington Spa / Full-Time / Permanent

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a growing multi-site client who are recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Payroll Bureau Administrator to join their Leamington office.

The company operate in a number of different sectors and specialise in supportingsole traders and larger businesses through every stage of their personal and professional life.

We are looking for a passionate individual who has a drive to be successful in their role. The wider team is extremely supportive with no office politics or 'blameculture'. This is a genuinely friendly team, in a nice relaxed environment.

This position gives you the opportunity to be responsible for your own Payroll portfolio (size of the payrolls will vary).

Responsibilities:

Endtoend Payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis
Liaising with HMRC and setting up PAYE schemes with HMRC for clients
Responding promptly to client queries
Autoenrolment Administration
Calculating statutory leave payments such as SSP/SMP/SPP/SHPP
Ensuring compliance with government guidelines

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a Payroll Bureau environment (at least 1 year):

Experience using Sage Payroll or Xero Payroll:

Knowledge/experience of auto-enrolment:

Excellent timemanagement and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be proactive when issues arise as well as resourceful
Excellent customer service skills
Adaptability (to a variety of responsibilities/tasks)
Professional appearance and attitude
