  • Are you passionate about improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities at Royal Papworth Hospital and across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (C&P) area? This post is an exciting opportunity for you to take direct action in tackling health inequalities within our system. _
  • The NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) sets out key actions the NHS would take to strengthen its contribution to reducing healthcare inequalities. The COVID19 pandemic has further highlighted these inequalities. A central part of responding to COVID19 and restoring services is to increase the scale and pace of NHS action to tackle healthcare inequalities to protect those at greatest risk. _
  • The role is fixed term and will initially focus on the implementation of the Treating Tobacco Dependency programme. The NHS LTP gives a commitment that, by the end of March 2024, _
    _all __patients admitted to hospital that currently smoke cigarettes will be offered stop smoking support. _
  • You will report to the Chief AHP and work alongside colleagues from digital, clinical areas with highest prevalence, project management and business intelligence. You will also act as a resource for health inequalities at Royal Papworth Hospital, engaging stakeholders and wider communities and services in the process. Overall a great opportunity for system working, relationship building and stakeholder management within C&P._
