We are looking for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our In House Maintenance Team, carrying our maintenance and repair work within the Council's dwellings and properties whilst practising safe working practices.
The role
As our Multi Skilled Joiner you will carry out essential maintenance and repair work, within the timescales, on our dwellings/properties as per the works order specification.
You will be provided with a business van including all equipment to enable you to complete your tasks with the requirement to comply with vehicle use and maintenance.
We offer flexibility within our normal working pattern of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and you will be part of our "out of hours" emergency call out rota which you will receive an allowance of up to £219 plus additional pay for hours worked on an emergency call out.
What you will bring
You will need an NVQ2 in Joiner/Carpentry and efficient in Plumbing
Ideally, we are looking for a qualified Joiner/Carpenter with knowledge and basic experience in other trades.
