An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our busy team working within the Orthotics Department based at the Royal Gwent Hospital.

The individual will work with both clinicians and service users ensuring that bookings are made and taken as part of the service programme.

To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Orthotic service. To support the peaks and flows of workload demand and requirements in order to meet departmental deadlines.


It is essential that applicants have experience of working in a busy office environment, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills and are able to work accurately in a pressurised environment.

A knowledge of the MYRDDIN appointment system and ORACLE procurement system would be advantageous.


The successful post holder will be flexible to meet the needs of the service and will enjoy working as part of a very busy team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
