Our client manufacturers 100% recyclable aluminium frames at their state-of-the-art premises near Belper, Derbyshire. We are delighted to be working in partnership to help fill various roles including a Press Operative on a temporary to permanent basis on days or night shifts

Your main responsibilities as a Press Operative will include:
Run and maintain the press machines to keep it in good working order.

Monitor metal as it's being shaped, inspecting pieces of fresh metal for imperfections and overall quality.

Follow company, state, and federal safety regulations. This includes wearing proper protective equipment and keeping their work areas clean and well organized.

You as the Press Operative will demonstrate the following:
Experience operating press machines machines

A desire to learn new skills and develop new processes.

Able to lift and move large pieces of metal, and stand for hours at a time, all of which requires physical strength and stamina.

Use time management skills to work within deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.

The hours for this job role are either 6am-6pm (Monday-Thursday) OR 6pm-6am (Monday-Thursday)

The pay rate for this position will be starting at £10.42 per hour (days) or £11.50 per hour (nights)
