CIM we are looking for a
Content and Engagement Executive to join our Marketing Team.


About the role:


You'll be creating and disseminating content that raises CIM's brand awareness, adds value to members and the wider marketing community, drives leads and revenue whilst providing CIM with a relevant voice both internally and externally.

Hybrid working is fully embedded in CIM's company culture. Our Marketing Team follow a model of both onsite and remote working, currently 2 days office based / 3 days remote per week._**
In a typical day, you might:
  • Support the content team in developing and delivering the content roadmap.
  • Be proactive in bringing forward ideas, linking content and messaging to ensure consistency across the business
  • Shape content plans in line with the PR activities (campaigns, research and thought leadership) to drive voice and relevance considering audience, format and overall objective.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage content to support marketing initiatives, propositions (membership, qualifications, training), brand and value add, determining which methods work for different customers and why.
  • Work closely with content/publishing agency and external stakeholders to ensure all content is in line with theme and being produced on time.
  • Create, edit and upload content in a variety of formats, including written (print & digital), visual and audio.
  • Responsible for ensuring all content is on brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone and optimised for search.
  • Work with the creative team on assets which are high quality, relevant to the content and in line with target audience.
  • Support the development of standards, systems and best practice for content creation.
  • Monitor and report on content performance objectives and targets.
  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to raise content awareness
  • Work closely with PR team to ensure consistency of message and growth of CIM's voice as representing the marketing profession.
  • Work with PR team to execute internal communications to all key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external resources for design, digital, data, web, events, PR, copy, webinars and analysis.

For this role, you'll need:


  • Evidence of experience in a content marketing role or experience in copywriting, editing and content creation.
  • Understanding or experience of measurement, including Google Analytics.
  • A 'big picture' thinker, able to spot opportunities and make connections.
  • Experience in and a good understanding of PR
  • Highly organised and able to balance multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to work effectively across crossfunctional/matrix teams.
  • Ability to network and engage with management at all levels.
  • Presentation skills and able to deliver complex content in a clear and compelling manner.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degreelevel or of similar
  • CIM qualified or willingness to study
