We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic and enthusiastic HR Team.You will have the opportunity to develop your operational HR portfolio by being the first point of contact for general HR enquiries, providing advice and guidance as required and escalating as appropriate.
You will have responsibility for the administration of the employee lifecycle, inputting employment changes into our ESR system ensuring the highest level of service delivery to our Managers and Colleagues.
You will need to possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills alongside a pro-active and flexible approach towards your work with a 'can do' attitude.
You will need to be able to prioritise your workload as you will be working in a fast paced but supportive environment.
You will have strong administration skills coupled with team working skills and the ability to quickly form strong working relationships.
Previous experience within HR would be advantageous.

- Deal with general day to day enquiries from managers and staff, acting as first point of contact and seeking advice from the HR Advisors and HR Business Partners as required.
- To be familiar with a number of HR policies and procedures providing straightforward guidance on where information can be found within the Trust's intranet, and to know when to escalate queries to HR Advisors or HR Business Partners.
- Receiving and distributing mail coming into the department.
- Co-ordinates meetings, hearings and training events as required ensuring all relevant documentation is available.
- Providing administrative support to arranging HR hearings and meetings.
- Taking minutes when required during HR Hearings / Investigations.
- Updating HR Databases and any other HR records as required.
- Requesting purchase order numbers and liaising with the Finance Department regarding the payment of invoices etc.
- Maintaining stock levels, ordering stationary and supplies.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports as required.
- Maintaining employee files, ensuring that all relevant employee documentation is scanned & filed promptly and correctly.
- Supporting the process for DBS renewals by checking i.d. documents and scanning them into the TRAC system.
- Complete employment references as required.
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support as required.
