First Achieve Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a field base mechanical engineer or someone with a mechanical engineering background, experience in rotating equipment.


The role will be paying in the region of £36, ,000 per annum with company vehicle for site travels


This role requires to work with the Design Teams to align resource, materials and priorities to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Travel over to customers' site to conduct data collection on rotating equipment with 3D Scanning equipment


Responsibilities include

  • Liaise with Design Team to ensure components are correctly measured and specified
  • Preparation of accurate 3D CAD drawings to release to manufacture.
  • Preparation of design reports
  • Ensure on time completion of reports, assembly and tests to meet department K.P.I's
  • Measure and record dimensions/ tolerances/ clearances as required
  • Ability to work handson, on relevant tasks
