Seabank Road, Wallasey

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

We are seeking an experienced Project Worker to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Seabank Road offers 8 bedrooms and shared facilities for clients with mental health issues. It also works in conjunction with two houses where we offer outreach support.

The role of Project Worker will include:

  • Regularly assessing the needs of our clients by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training and employment
  • Supporting clients in their day to day living i.e. with cooking and cleaning
  • Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
  • Assisting clients with managing finances and welfare benefits
  • Encouraging social inclusion and helping clients to build their confidence, resilience and selfesteem
  • Working with statutory and nonstatutory agencies on behalf of the clients and actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required
  • Promoting safe working practices by undertaking risk assessments within legislative frameworks

Skills and experiences:


  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable people
  • You will be empathetic and nonjudgmental with a positive approach to managing challenging behavior
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, listening and time management skills
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
