Core responsibilities will typically include:


  • Solely manage the HR function.
  • Working closely with Senior Leaders on strategic planning.
  • To deal with HR issues arising including disciplinary hearings; grievances.
  • To oversee recruitment & interview process including exit interviews.
  • To be responsible for the drafting & review of policies and procedures.
  • Produce job offer letters, contracts and job specifications.
  • To manage the payroll process for 100 + staff (working with external payroll provider).
  • Hands on responsibility for all HR administration.
  • Maintain staff information on IRIS database.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:


  • Relevant HR experience.
  • CIPD qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience of working closely with Leaders to drive results and organisational development.
  • Good knowledge of payroll administration.
  • Used to working with HR systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Looking for a 'sleeves rolled up' HR position.
