With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services.

We provide our business with more than
9,000 vehicles and over
25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.


As the Plant Controller, you will ensure that planned maintenance events are managed in accordance with current Service Level Agreements and that the business delivers a "best in class" customer experience.

As a Maintenance Controller, you'll get the opportunity to:

  • Support with the scheduling of statutory inspections, examinations, calibrations and service events, for all Plant & Vehicles
  • You'll ensure that "best cost solutions" are adopted for the provision of all maintenance events
  • Contact customers to arrange and book compliance and service events, including MOT's
  • Process defect reports following a scheduled event and arrange remedial repairs as required
  • Processing recharges in accordance with SLA's
  • Book external repairers and raising/processing PO's for your nominated contracts.
  • Support the breakdown team during busy periods

What you'll bring?

  • You have gained experience similar role within the plant and fleet sector
  • You are someone with a strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
  • You're able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • You'll be using a number of internal systems, so you got good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fleet Maintenance related software would be an advantage however training will be provided
