Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
CARE ASSISTANT to join our care team supporting a young man (2:1) at night
(8pm-8am) in his home in
Kingsteignton.

Care is provided
7 days a week.
Our service user is living with autism and learning disabilities. He is a wonderful, kind-hearted person. He can become heightened and exhibit some challenging behaviour. He lives in his own home and is supported by 2 Carers/Support Workers 24 hours a day. His mum and dad live nearby and are very actively involved in his life and his care.

Our service user has been with us for some while and has a well established and settled care team.

A vacancy has come up in that team to join us to continue the great work we are doing helping this young man to enjoy his fullest life.

Pay rates:

£11.25 p/hr Mon-Fri:

£14.00 p/hr Sat/Sun

Shifts:8pm-8am (7 nights pw)**It's vital that we have staff consistency and so
you will be required to pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per week. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you can and would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
It is important that you have some experience working in care. Previous experience working with MS would be a real bonus, but it absolutely not essential. You will receive training and support from our Clinical Mgt Team. You will be working alongside another experienced worker.
