Graduate - Assistant Investment Manager - Stafford - Salary negotiable depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits


MB Fitzgerald Recruitment are currently working with a Wealth & Investment Management organisation in Stafford to recruit a Graduate for their Assistant Investment Manager role.

The role will be to provide wide-ranging support to one of the company's topInvestment Manager's and there will be a clear progression structure to become a qualified Investment Manager in the future.


What we are looking for:
We are looking for a focused and determined graduate with an analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. You should have a clear interest in Investments, demonstrated by qualifications or work experience. You should have strong IT skills and numericalability and will ideally have a degree from a leading university.


The main duties include:

  • Supporting our Partners' work for our clients. Our clients' needs are varied and therefore so is the work.
  • Some of this will be related to managing our clients' wealth:
  • Attending meetings and monitoring and executing the agreed actions.
  • Preparing investment reports and managing some of the associated administration.
  • Portfolio management and trade execution.

In addition you will be asked to:

  • Carry out investment research and due diligence, relaying your findings to the team.
  • Liaise with our clients' professional service providers (solicitors, tax advisers, accountants etc.)
  • Communicating with ultrahigh net worth clients.
  • Assisting Partners with additional projects as required

Requirements:


  • Degree qualified
  • Possess an interest in investments and markets.
  • Have a desire to progress to providing discretionary and / or advisory investment services.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of spreadsheets is a distinct advantage.

  • Full time role (95, Monday to Friday).
