The Role


Ranked by the prestigious Legal 500 Tier system, you will work as part of this renowned and quickly growing Edinburgh Banking and Finance team with colleagues from across the UK.

Clients include some of the most highly regarded investors and financial institutions in the country.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of these clients, and build a strong reputation as an expert in banking and finance law.


  • Has up to 4 years PQE with a strong general background of banking expertise. Outstanding NQs, passionate about the practice area may also be considered.
  • Experience liaising with stakeholders including borrowers, lenders and investors throughout the full transaction lifecycle.
  • Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients, and has the ambition and communication skills to further develop client relations
  • Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current construction law landscape
