A leading independent commercial property company based in Preston are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
The main duties of the job will include:
- Proactively generate leads for property requirements near our sites whether this be in person, through social channels such as LinkedIn
- Building relationships with businesses on our existing estates, national companies and bluechip companies
- To work closely with the Sales Team and help monitor / keep the CRM system up to date
- Target growth sectors/industries to generate leads
- Work closely with the Asset and Property managers and concentrate on assets that aren't performing as well as others
- Create further value to the existing portfolio by identifying underutilised and/or unutilised assets and making them income generating
- Attract clients and develop client relationships by identifying and understanding their property requirements
The key skills required for the job include:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as Business Development Manager
- Previous experience in a property job is ideal
- Good allround sales and people skills
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to commute to different sites
