Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young lady with her complex care needs.


We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is an independent young woman in her early 20s. She lives at home with her family in Nelson and requires support throughout the night on a part-time basis.


She loves travelling and has recently visited Dubai, London, and France She hopes to keep her adventures going in the future and plans to visit the Maldives and travel Route 66 in the USA with her sister.

Her other hobbies include enjoying a good pamper night with her care team and experimenting with makeup.

You will be required to support her throughout the night, always ensuring her comfort and safety. This will include the management of her ventilator and some elements of her personal care and repositioning.


It would be ideal if you could match her personality and interests as well as the having the essential skills and experience required.


Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Ventilation Management
  • PEG nutrition and medication Administration
  • Cough Assist
  • Knowledge of Scoliosis

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time 16 hours per week
  • Nights 10pm6am

Weeknights £11.75 per hour Approx. £94 per 8-hour shift Weekends £12.75 per hour Approx. £102 per 8-hour shift Bank Holidays £14.25 per hour Approx. £114 per 8-hour shift.
