Description

Our client, based near Eccles, Manchester is looking to recruit several Assembly Operatives. They are an innovative company with new contracts in the pipeline. The last 12 months have been their busiest period since they started over 10 years ago.
They recently won SME Business of the year.

Job Role:

Assembly of equipment in the factory or on site to expected quality standards and timescales in the most efficient and safe manner.

Keep the work area clean and organised to promote a safe and efficient working environment.

Ensure that all health and safety requirements are followed and the safety of all personnel, subcontractors and customers in the area is not compromised.

Ensure that all quality requirements, systems and standards are maintained and documents and records are completed and filed.

Assembly of mechanical components, working to deadlines to ensure completion of Manufacture to meet target completion dates.

Attend site to carry out refurbishment / Flatpack assembly of equipment.

Assist / Liaise with other departments / staff members to ensure efficiency of the assembly operation.

Wrapping, labelling & packaging of completed equipment prior to dispatch.

Assist wherever possible with the continued improvement and development of the department.

Hours of work:

Normal working hours are 40 each week between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch each day and two 10 minute paid breaks each day.

Qualifications/education required:

No specific qualifications are required. Driving license would be preferred but not essential.

Experience required:

No previous industry experience is required, however familiarity with hand and power tools are essential.
