Salary:
£52,084+


What you'll be doing as an Industrial Control Systems (ICS) team leader:

  • Interfacing with each of the manufacturing facilities and cross functional stakeholder management to ensure that they understand their responsibilities
  • Ensure OT (Operational Technology) Security Assurance including, asset assessments IAW the latest NIST standards, leading relevant internal and external audit activities and resulting improvement actions
  • Identifying and recording risks & vulnerabilities associated with OT Security, assessing impact, probability and recommending mitigations
  • Managing and coordinate OT Security incidents in accordance with BAE Systems processes
  • Supporting OT investment project planning by ensuring that the provision of new assets and software comply with the relevant Cyber Security requirements
  • Ensuring relevant process documentation is in place and where required undertaking assessments of compliance
  • Maintaining awareness of the changing OT Security threat and recognised best practice both across BAES and external sources, using this to reviewing current practices and policies
  • Ensure that a high level of awareness, across the business, in the various cyber security practices and responsibilities is maintained through training and communications

Your skills and experiences:


Essential

  • Understanding of BAE Systems manufacturing technologies and processes including plant and equipment used within the aircraft industry
  • Demonstrative knowledge of ICS security
  • Team leadership experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area network, etc) and associated security controls
  • Knowledge of NIST and/or IEC 6244
  • A formal IT or Cyber Security qualification/accreditation

The Manufacturing Cyber Security team:


Reporting to the Head of Governance and Capability you will lead a multi-functional team that will work in partnership with IM&T, the Manufacturing Professional Leads across the business and the Maintenance organisation.


You will collaborate with these functions and provide security input, advice, and assurance to ensure that security is embedded within the businesses manufacturing facilities and processes.

In Addition to this you will identify opportunities to for improvement to the levels of security and awareness across the Air manufacturing landscape
