The office automation environment is an important aspect of CDPQ's Digital Technology strategy evolution, whose goal is to be connected everywhere, at all times, to support the organization's globalization and deploy tools to foster collaboration.

This includes the evolution of workstations, managing office automation tools, collaboration, videoconference and telephony.


Reporting to the Director, Office Integration and International Support, as Advisor, the incumbent provides support, maintenance and troubleshooting for computers, peripherals and software follow established standards.

The advisor supports, follows up on the users requests and ensures they are completed.

The individual provides support to the two offices in the region:
London and Paris.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide local and remote support to end users;
  • Analyze requests, diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems;
  • Proactively follow up on requests and communicate with users;
  • Install, configure, maintain and move computers and peripherals;
  • Take part in rollouts based on established standards;
  • Review all technical support related processes and documentation for continuous improvement Document installation and repair procedures;
  • Participate in various project tasks related to workstations;
  • Provide support on call outside of business hours if required;
  • Follow up on weekly visits from the technician of our IT partner;
  • Responsible for the ITonboarding for new joiners / offboarding for leavers.

Requirements:


  • Able to communicate well, customeroriented and a strong team player;
  • At least 3 years as a deskside technician;
  • Understanding the reality of supporting a regional office with a head office in Canada;
  • English and French, both essential.
  • Able to multitask well and work under pressure with demanding end users;
  • Strong problemsolving skill;
  • Proficiency with Windows 10, Office 365, MacOS an asset;
  • Organized and responsible, team player;
  • Ability to install and move computer equipment as needed.
