Summary
The Governors of Ribbleton Avenue Methodist Junior School are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistants. The post is for 37 hours per week / 39 weeks a year (Term Time plus Insets).

- Experience in supporting Maths and English lessons with a secure academic understanding of the KS2 curriculum,
- Experience of and a desire to, work in an area of high deprivation with it's own unique characteristics and challenges
- A desire to work in a culturally diverse setting,
- A friendly and genuine childcentred approach,
- Some knowledge or experience working with children and young people to provide personalised learning experiences,
- A calm, patient and encouraging manner, with an ability to make learning engaging,
- A restorative approach to behaviour management with firm behavioural expectations built on relational practices,
- An ability to be selfmotivated and manage time effectively to maximise children's learning time.

NVQ level 3 or above qualification (or equivalent)
