If so, Procurement might be right for you.

What is Procurement?
Procurement is a strategic function that is involved in every activity in obtaining goods and services from global markets that an organisation needs to support its daily operations.

This includes, market research, sourcing and contract development to name a few.

It delivers these goods and services, achieving best value for money, whilst minimising risk to both the organisation and the environment.

A role in Procurement will equip you with much sought after transferable skills such as, strategic thinking, project management, risk management and understanding markets, which are required for senior and strategic positions in various sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Procurement. The first 12 months of the apprenticeship will provide you with a level 3 qualification in Business Administration.

This, together with 12 months working experience in a fast paced, multi-site procurement function will form a solid base for the Level 4 diploma in Procurement and Supply, provided by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) of which you will be enrolled as a student member.

All course training, material, memberships and exam fees are fully funded.

Currently with 22 schools, the East Midlands Education Trust represents the full educational age range of including an alternative education provider.

Our Central Services Team are now seeking to appoint a Procurement and Supply Apprentice to assist with all aspects of the procurement cycle, day to day administration, supplier management and to support the Procurement Manager to deliver an effective procurement programme in line with the Trust's Procurement Strategy.

In return, you will receive 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, you will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and an employee wellbeing scheme.
